From handing out backpacks to helping clean up and pack everything away, it was a joy to play a small part in a big day. Seeing churches, nonprofits, businesses, and volunteers come together to bless local families was a beautiful reminder that community is built one act of service at a time. Spent yesterday at the State of St. Johns 2026 hearing directly from county leaders in education, public safety, and growth. As a broker who serves families across Northeast Florida, mornings like this remind me why I do what I do — because where you buy is never just a location. It's a future. A few things that stood out: 🎓 The schools just made history. Superintendent Dr. Brennan Asplen shared that St. Johns County ranked #1 in the state — and became the first district ever to break the 900-point threshold (910 points, an A-rated district, with the highest percentage of points in its history). For families relocating here, this is the story behind the property values. 🌱 St. John is growing — fast. The county reached 346,328 residents in 2025, up from about 315,000 just two years ago.
